Central Region | The Castles The castles along the coast of the Central Region are among the best preserved in Ghana. The most prominent are the Cape Coast Castle, the Elmina Castle and Ford St. Jago.

Kakum National Park A 357 square kilometers of virgin rain forest. A canopy walkway through the forest provides the opportunity to see much of the indigenous plant and animal life.
 The Traditional Fishing Villages A succession of busy fishing villages and traditional market towns reflect the distinct cultures of the region.
The Craft Villages The Central Region is famed for its traditional crafts. Craftsmen today use the same methods that their forefathers have used for generations.
